The UM Diploma is recognized by MQA and students can continue their studies at Public and Private Universities
of our alumni continue their studies at the university as follows:
MQA’s full accreditation status entitles the Diploma holder to apply for a Bachelor’s degree either in Public or Private Higher Education Institutions (HEI). However, the selection of students for admission is subject to the conditions set by the relevant HEIs.

Established in 2013 through a prestigious partnership between the University of Malaya and the University of Wales, Universiti Malaya-Wales (UM-Wales) offers Dual Award programmes that provide a UK degree in Malaysia. With a focus on preparing students for the next industrial revolution, IUMW combines quality education with significant cost savings. Graduates receive certifications from both IUMW and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD).
